How can you help?

1.  Get Involved in Local Politics
Thousands of people from Laurel showed up to vote in the Presidential election but your local elections are where you have a voice.  For the city of Laurel, you have the following:

  • 1 mayor and 5 city council members
  • County Council Representative for District 1 which covers Laurel, Beltsville and College
  • 1 State Senator and 3 Delegates who represent your voice in Annapolis in Legislative District 21
2.  Consider Running for Office for any of the seats above
It's important that leaders in the community step up and run for office.  Too many times an incumbent is not challenged so they just slide right back into office and we continue to get more of the same.
